WELCOME TO HOPE SPRINGS FARM
Hope Springs Farm Featured on FOX43
FOX43 featured Hope Springs Farm on the air to detail our Farm Zoom parties during our closure. Jessica Pash interviewed Jim through Zoom, which was very fitting for the subject of the story. The interview detailed our closure and help from staff volunteers, followed by our search to reconnect virtually with Growers. The simple idea of showing Growers their animals and gardens through video laid the foundation for what turned into daily Farm Zoom parties. The parties also include crafts, cooking, yoga, and music therapy. We can’t wait for our Growers to be able to return to the Farm, but for now we love to see their faces through the screen. Click below to donate for us to continue to do our daily Zoom parties, while sending staff and Growers into the community for limited outings.
The mission of Hope Springs Farm is to provide adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as autism a meaningful day through joyful group activities within the community and on a family farm setting that lead to satisfying friendships.
